The legal basis for this processing is explicit consent from you, by submitting the respective forms.

3. Providing your personal data to third parties

3.1    I use a third-party platform to provide the email newsletters. If you subscribe to my newsletter, your name and email address will be shared with this third-party company – https://mailchimp.com.

(a)    Name, phone and email submitted via the contact form: I will retain these for communication purposes, until you explicitly ask for the data to be deleted.

(b)    Name and email submitted via the newsletter subscription form: this data will be retained until you explicitly request for it to be deleted. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any of the newsletter emails.

6. Security of personal data

6.1    I take appropriate technical and organisational precautions to secure your personal data and to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal data.

6.2    Your data will be stored in our website’s database as well as third-parties mentioned in section 4.

6.3    Data submitted via the contact form will be stored in the website’s database and in the email server.

6.4    You acknowledge that the transmission of unencrypted (or inadequately encrypted) data over the internet is inherently insecure, and I cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

7. Amendments

7.1    I may update this policy from time to time as features are added or removed, or practices otherwise change.

8.4    You have the right to have any inaccurate personal data about you rectified.
