This is quite addictive and in the Autumn I find I make it regularly. It's comforting but tastes fresh too, I think that's because it's served chilled and most pumpkin spiced things are warm or cakey. I feel like I am glowing from the inside when I up my turmeric intake and this is one of my favourite ways to do it.
You can easily warm this up in a pan if you prefer. You could probably blend in some actual pumpkin puree and a frozen banana and you would have yourself a smoothie.
SERVES:
2
400ml plant milk
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp cinnamon
1-2 tbsp. maple syrup/date syrup
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground allspice
1 tsp vanilla extract
A good pinch ground cloves
A good grating of nutmeg
